The partnership between Legal Runner and LawCare, the mental health charity for the legal sector, underscores our shared goals to improve mental and physical health and foster a healthier, inclusive and supportive legal community.
LawCare is the mental health charity for the legal sector, offering free, confidential emotional support, peer support, and information to people working in law in the UK, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man. LawCare also advocates for improvements in mental health practices within legal workplaces, and actively leads cultural transformation through education, training, and research.
LawCare has been supporting legal professionals for over 25 years, providing a safe and confidential space to talk, without judgement, whether you’re just having a bad day or facing something more longer lasting. All of LawCare’s helpline volunteers and staff have experience in the legal sector and understand the particular pressures that you may face. You can talk to LawCare about issues at work or at home.
LawCare offers emotional support to every branch of the legal profession, including barristers, solicitors, and business and support staff. Whether you are a HR manager in a legal firm feeling burnt out, a young trainee facing bullying, an experienced partner worried about a mistake, or a senior lawyer feeling sidelined, LawCare is there to listen and help.
If you need support, call LawCare’s helpline on 0800 279 6888, send an email to support@lawcare.org.uk or visit LawCare’s website to use the live online chat.
